Linedata has a hybrid office model where employees can work from home but also come into the office a couple days a week. There is strong sense of teamwork and collaboration. I have had the chance to work with many global teams on different projects and initiatives.

How are you offices structured? Is one office primarily development and another office admin etc?

The offices are fairly mixed... in Boston we have product folks, developers, support, marketing, finance, HR, consulting, operations, you name it!

We also have centers of excellence in Mumbai and Tunis that include support and development teams, and our offices in Paris include senior management, support, sales, consulting, and engineering. So, it's definitely a mix the world around.

And, we have a lot of remote employees- even more so since COVID. A lot of folks moved to different areas of the country, but wanted to still work for Linedata, so now they're simply remote. But, we do try to get everyone together at least a few times a year.

Giving the global footprint of the company is the cultural tone set at the top of firm, or more created in each regional location?

Good question! A little of both... our corporate team is based in Paris, but each region has it's own cultural vibe. As an example, the folks in Paris still come to the office every day, but since COVID, Boston has opted to have 2 prescriptive days in the office and the option to work remotely on other days. Our Paris office is smaller and they prefer to in the office each day, but in Boston, the flexibility of a hybrid policy works better for us.

We do have a few remote roles, but we’re mainly focused on hiring for in-office positions right now. That said, we understand the value of flexibility, so we try to offer hybrid options where it makes sense. For most roles, being in the office helps with team collaboration and gives employees better access to resources and support.
