Chief Operating Officer - Asset Management
Linedata is a publicly traded company, but founder led. That means there's a strong focus on growing revenue and fiscal responsibility to our share holders, but we control our own destiny. Unlike many of our competitors, we have no interest in selling out to a large bank and choose to remain independent. Our global footprint enables us to support our clients worldwide and fosters a culture of collaboration... on any given call I might be joined by staff in Boston, London, Tunis or Paris! And, innovation is also key- we service some of the top asset management firms in the world, so keeping up with the latest technology and offerings is critical.

Speaking about latest technology, what do you see as your next initiatives(beyond the obvious AI)?

Yup, we're already in AI! Some of our next initiatives are really just building on what we already have. We have cloud offerings, we have module offerings, we're involved with AI- but, how do we make it all more seamless and integrated? As our clients and our offerings grow we need to take advantage of new technology to get new functionality in the hands of our clients faster, and become more efficient at supporting them.

are you planning to move clients onto the cloud or do some want to stay on-prem?

We do have some clients already in the cloud and our newest products are web and cloud enabled. The current trend is the majority of clients want to be hosted, but not necessarily in the cloud. I think there's still some reticence to jump into the cloud, especially given some of the recent very public outages. But, we're ready to support it if clients or prospects want to utilize our applications in the cloud.
