Hello James, did you have any surprises when arriving at Linedata ?

I think what I found most surprising when I started at Linedata was how interconnected all the offices are. I was starting at the Oxford office which had quite a small team and I was expecting it to be slightly isolated. I was happy to find out, however, that there is a lot of contact with the other offices. For example, our support team work in Riga and come over and visit our office from time to time which is always a great laugh. We also see members of the London team regularly and a focus is placed on online interaction with other colleagues worldwide through things like quizzes and competitions. The most recent of these was a talent competition and it's pretty interesting to see what hidden skills people here have - who knew Longboard Dancing was a thing?
