Good question. The first thing that struck me was that the work sounded like it would suit me perfectly. The job description talked about porting an old legacy application to a new product. I had experience with the style of programming the new application was in and wanted to learn more about the programming language the legacy app had been written in. The industry also interested me as it was likely I would be able to apply my mathematics degree. The interview was very friendly - I felt at home in the office and the people there were welcoming. It was also one of the more technical interviews I did which convinced me that I was being taken seriously.

Based on the above, it seemed to me like Linedata was a great choice for the next step in my career.
