Hello Rita ! What are the main responsibilities of your position as a Senior Manager in Fund Operations ?

We have a very diversified portfolio of clients, and also a very diverse suite of products. Each comes with its own challenges. Each client is unique, and so is our approach to servicing them. Our core is very strong. The key is to understand client’s requirements, appreciate their operational needs and recommend optimal solutions from our very diverse portfolio of products and services. Our team is knowledgeable in different HF products, strategies, and have knowledge of third party products like Geneva, Charles River, as well as Linedata’s own solutions like GlobalHedge, Mfact , Mshare.

So as a Sr. Manager ops, I oversee teams to see we are delivering our clients , as we promise to and stay on track

And what are the most challenging things about your position?

The investment management industry is continuously changing . no other industry is so diverse and ever changing as financial services. This poses challenges for us, who work in this industry and who would like to build a career in this industry. The challenge is to stay up to date with changes , be aware of changing rules, appreciate what it means for your client, the possible impact on operational processes , discuss and decide if any changes is necessary . Now, these challenges also open up opportunity for us to continuously learn and update our knowledge.
