How did you get involved in your role?

I originally started working at Linedata as a Software Engineer working on one of our products called Derivation. I was initially interested in working with the team for a number of reasons. Firstly, the team in Oxford came across as interesting and entertaining at my job interview and secondly it was a job that involved quite a few different programming languages. I've always enjoyed learning new skills, so it was quite exciting to work on.

Now that I've been working with Linedata for a few years my role has transitioned slightly. I'm still working as a software engineer, but the focus has shifted. I had the chance to work on a small team creating a brand new service that will be used by many other products within the company. After my experience doing that, my role has continued to be centred around new cutting edge initiatives that the company is developing.
