The degree of flexibility and the available options depend, of course, on the Team and role we are assigned to and on existing deadlines. Interacting with colleagues located around the Globe may require also taking into account different time zones when defining the working timetable.

That said, my personal experience is positive about this matter. I could discuss about shifting working times and booking unexpected time off easily with my managers. In time, with acquired seniority and proved needs, working remotely is also a possibility.
