I am C.A. started with Analyst level and now performing VP Role.

I am qualified Chartered Accountant since 2004. I started my career with C.A. firm for 2 years and then I joined Fund Administration company as an Associate level. I had spent 12 years in that where I grow professionally and Financially. I leaned many things in Fund Accounting and Operation like Life cycle of various financial Product, computation of Profit and Loss of each financial products, Computation NAV of Cayman Fund, UCITS Funds, Hedge Fund, Variety of Investor Allocation, launching of New Client/Fund, Automation etc. During my tenure, I was at Associate Director level when I left company and Joined Linedata – Gravitas as Associate Vice President. I Joined Linedata Gravitas in September 2019 to further enhance my skill and experience in Shadow Accounting. I visited US to meet the client , understand their requirement and migrate their process.

The role will include but not be limited to: • Ensure accurate data and recorded on the accounting system • Ensure department standards and control systems • Reviewing Net Asset Value (NAV) and Financial Statements Regular • Review of reconciliations and analysis of NAVs • Organize the delivery of unit prices/ NAVs, General Ledger feeds and Fund Managers' • Reconciliations Review process and procedures with a view to improving or reengineering • Planning, Scheduling and managing the daily workflows • Conducting periodical performance review, provides training, development and Motivation to the staff • Participating hiring. salary, promotional and termination process

Don’t change the job frequently and present your skill & experience

I would advice to remain/stay in same organization for longer period to achieve career path. Also, today’s world is very innovative and automation is key to success in any business hence candidate needs to be flexible and very innovative in his/her profile and try to automate the thing to achieve the efficiency. To keep your self-updated by leaning different process and system in your fields /process, which further help you in to succeed in your path /goal.
