Hi,
I like to plan the day in advance. When leaving for the day, I usually prepare myself a list of the tasks I should be working on the next day. This way, I already have an idea of my expected workload. The plan may change if, for example, I am asked to give priority to something else but it does not happen very often.
Depending on the project I am assigned to, I should attend scrum meetings where we give an update of the project's development status. Other meetings may be scheduled with developers or managers to discuss more specific points.
During the day, while testing, I may also be in touch with the developer that worked on the functionality I am looking at or with some colleague that have already had experience in that area. These are usually online calls to clarify any point that would not be clear to me while testing. Overall, despite working individually on a task, I am often interacting with other colleagues.
