Anyone who works hard and invests a lot in his work will be rewarded. Rigour and perseverance are, in my opinion, two key values to evolve within any organization. At Linedata, I was given a chance, I was trusted. Colleagues support helped me to improve myself and to lead our project to success.

In 2013, I started to work as an apprentice on some research and development work related to mobility. After 6 months of trials, we defined the roadmap of what would become one of the first mobile product of Linedata Lending and Leasing. I worked hard for several months with a small and highly motivated team to build the foundation of the new solution. We presented it right on time for the Linedata Exchange Paris event (an annual series of events designed to encourage a rich dialogue between clients, Linedata and their peers whilst offering clients the opportunity to listen to leading industry experts delivering expert commentary and content on the subjects that matters) in June 2015. Over the following years we strengthened our efforts: we industrialized processes and added new features. The product is now live at client sites in different countries.

While there is a pervasive attitude in the labor markets that employers do not adequately provide for their employees, I find at Linedata, if you demonstrate your commitment, good things will come of it. There are many opportunities for advancing your career and there are a wide variations of jobs that are performed here. If your a valued employee, show competency and commitment, your likely going to recognized and promoted to newer roles of greater responsibility in your career. The one thing I have learned during the course of my career is the following: If you choose to move forward in any direction and at some point your realize its probably not optimal or going to produce the benefits you originally projected, have the courage to admit maybe it wasn't such a good idea and seek out other alternatives.

In support, I constantly encounter new topics, both functional and technical. It is important to keep an open mind and address all types of subjects, including those with which I am not familiar. One needs to be curious and able to work on new functional and technical issues. Conducting research in our knowledge database, consulting documentation, or asking colleagues for help are essential steps to solving any issue. The product we work on has many features, and there is always something new to learn.
