From apprenticeship to full-fime software engineer
I started my career with an apprenticeship at Linedata while completing my Master's degree at Université Paris Dauphine. This role allowed me to dive into the world of AI and data science, applying what I learned in school to real-world financial technology projects. During my time as an apprentice, I worked on various tasks related to developing and optimizing AI models, which gave me a solid foundation in the field and affirmed my passion for innovative technology solutions.
After demonstrating my skills and commitment, I was thrilled to be offered a full-time position as a Junior Software Development Engineer at Linedata. Transitioning to this role was a significant move for me, as it provided the stability and opportunity to continue contributing to impactful projects in financial software. I was motivated by my desire to deepen my expertise and take on more responsabilities. In this position, I am still actively involved in designing and implementing algorithms to improve data processing and decision-making tools, which is both challenging and rewarding. These experiences are crucial in shaping my career, reinforcing my passion for combining technology with financial solutions.
Integrating IA solutions into Linedata's softwares
In my current role at Linedata, I integrate advanced AI-based modules into our financial software. My work involves embedding deep learning and machine learning models to enhance the software’s capabilities.
A key aspect of my role is to improve user experience by providing clients with valuable predictive insights. We develop features that deliver key performance indicators and forecasts, helping clients make more informed decisions with accurate predictions and analysis. Additionally, we focus on the explainability of our models, ensuring that the insights and predictions are transparent and understandable for our clients.
By incorporating these AI technologies and emphasizing model explainability, I aim to streamline financial operations and make our software more intuitive and effective.
Participating in inovating projects
My main motivation is to actively participate in exciting projects that leverage cutting-edge AI and advanced technologies. I am driven by the opportunity to work on innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible this field.
The research aspect of AI is particularly engaging due to its dynamic and rapidly evolving nature. Exploring new algorithms and staying abreast of emerging trends presents a unique challenge that drives continuous learning and innovation. The volatility of AI technology offers constant opportunities to experiment and adapt, making it a stimulating field where breakthroughs and advancements are a regular part of the journey.
Prioritize Self-Care
Prioritizing self-care is about intentionally dedicating time and resources to your own physical, mental, and emotional health. It involves creating habits and routines that support your overall health and balance. It is important because it helps maintain your energy levels, reduces stress, and improves overall well-being.
When you make self-care a priority, you enhance your ability to perform effectively in both personal and professional settings. Well-rested and balanced individuals approach their work with greater focus and creativity, which boosts productivity and job satisfaction. Essentially, it isn’t just about feeling good, it’s about equipping yourself to perform at your best in all aspects of life. So, don't minimize it, because who doesn’t want to be their best, most energized self both at home and at the office ?
Modernized an outdated project with advanced AI solutions
One of my greatest achievements was leading the transformation of an outdated project by replacing its legacy technologies with modern AI solutions. We took a project originally built on older technology stacks and rebuilt it using advanced deep learning and machine learning models. This overhaul not only updated the technical foundation but also significantly enhanced the project’s capabilities and performance.
The successful implementation of these new technologies resulted in a substantial shift in the project's direction, opening up new possibilities and improving its overall effectiveness.
