Kaizen is the Japanese philosophy that means "change for the better". In business, as in life, we can always look for ways to improve - be it seeking operational efficiencies or applying lessons learned to our next endeavor. Change is good and when you see an opportunity to improve something, it might just lead to your next promotion!

Sometimes it is easier to give up than to keep persevering but, in reality something worth having or being a part of does not come easy. Hence you need to keep trying and never give up, if a door closes remember to keep your head up and keep going.

Life (personal and professional) is truly a winding road. It is never straight ahead, paved perfectly, or timed exactly. As you move forward through your career, do your job the best you can and be curious enough to keep learning along the way.
