From a Degree in Chemistry to Software Test Management

After Graduating in a Degree in Chemistry & Business Administration, I worked as a Unit Trust Dealer for a Fund Management Company. I was then promoted to a team leader and then managed a Dealing Room. As i used the system to administer the day to day functionality of my job, I became very familiar with this system and the business also. I then transferred in a QA Testing role withing the IT department using the same system. I then moved jobs and became a QA Test Analyst at Linedata I then progressed to Team Leader and eventually a Test Manager position. I now plan, lead a high successful testing team which is unique with its delivery schedule to out Client. Our client comes first! As a team, we pull all the stops for our Clients needs and ensure their business flows uninterrupted with the use of a Linedata applcation.

Creating and lead a highly successful QA Team

The team started with just my colleague and me. Now it has grown to 13 Testers across 3 regions. We all share the common goal of testing using the best possible methodology as required Task by Task and delivering to the client within time with high quality.
