Sales Intern to Marketing Manager
As a "Covid College Kid" the beginning of my career seemed quite uncertain. My previous internship and work experience had taught me more about what I didn't want to do than what I did. Then came an opportunity to intern at Linedata, my mindset coming in was to learn as much as I could as quickly as I could to provide value to the team and set myself up for post-graduation success.
Nearly 5 years later and I've taken on a role as a Product and Operational Marketing Manager for Linedata's Lending and Leasing business.
Product and Operational Marketing Manager - Linedata L&L
From campaigns to collateral, digital advertising and in-person events, the role of a Product Marketing Manager is wide in scope and crucial towards building a successful brand.
In this role, I am primarily responsible for all things Product and Marketing Operations related for Linedata Capitalstream and Linedata Ekip360, the flagship products of the Lending and Leasing business. Supporting the global team, our key regional focuses are in North America and Europe where we have an established client base and strong brand recognition.
In marketing, the formula for success is always changing and it is important to constantly be improving our marketing strategy, messaging, and focus areas to stay top of mind for any prospective clients. The ultimate goal for anyone in marketing is increase the number of opportunities in the pipeline by building awareness of and consideration for Linedata Lending and Leasing in the broader market of financial institutions.

Nobody likes doing dishes, I certainly don't, but you're never too important to do them.
Take this idea and expand it to your career, personal life, and the world around you. This simple phrase reminds us that nothing is below us. This mindset will take you a whole lot further than believing you're above certain things.
Whether in your career or your life, you'll come across some things you don't want to do, but it's the people who take those things on with a positive attitude who come out on top.

Client events across the globe
Here at Linedata we have, for many years, hosted an annual client event series around the world called Linedata Exchange (LDX).
LDX is an amazing opportunity for our clients, prospects, partners, and internal experts to all come together for a day of knowledge sharing and networking. As a part of the Marketing team, I have had the opportunity to participate in the planning and execution of six (6) LDX events.
Included in these six are three in particular that were great achievements for me, LDX Hong Kong 2023, LDX Hong Kong 2024, and LDX Singapore 2024. As the Event Manager for these events, I was the point person responsible for the planning and execution of the events despite being based in Boston. This experience collaborating with the local team in Hong Kong was an amazing opportunity to build relationships with colleagues that I otherwise did not work as closely with and deliver successful events together.
After a successful event in Hong Kong in 2023, we added LDX Singapore in 2024 and executed both events in Asia in the same week this year which was only possible due to the great collaboration and effort from the whole team.
LDX has been an excellent experience during my time at Linedata and remains one of my favorite projects to work on each year!
