From Transportation Engineer to Implementation Analyst
I graduated from Riga Technical university as Transportation Engineer, I did not feel like I need to finish studying and I also wanted to widen my knowledge, therefore I went for another Bachelor degree this time in Business Administration at University of Latvia. During my studies I have spent 3 summers in United States doing door to door sales, learning about direct sales skills and management. Summer sales job has improved my communication skills and has helped to build my character. To combine all my previous experience turned out that I was a perfect fit for a Support Analyst role at Linedata and recently promoted to Implementation Analyst.
I assist our customers to resolve their problems
I work as an analyst in product support team, we provide assistance to clients by investigating and resolving their problems.
Members of product support team work in close collaboration with the Linedata application developers, technical services consultation, account managers and business analysts.
Some of my duties and responsibilities are:
- Resolve issues raised by clients through support workflows
- Keeping clients up-to-date on the issues they have raised
- Provide information to the client about the application
- Attending conference calls and support meetings with clients
- Mentor the new recruitment.
Being professional and reliable support for the clients
My main motivator as support analyst is to help clients by finding and offering the best solution for their need.
All the good words and positive feedback received from clients strive me to become better at what I do.
I enjoy working in support as everyday is different and there is no sense of routine.
New challenges that come up everyday make this job interesting and exciting.
There is no growth in your comfort zone
I suggest don't be afraid to jump into something completely new, it most likely will be exciting, frightful, fun, stressful, but in the end worth it.
Growth starts where your comfort zone ends, if you believe that you can do it, you will, if others can do it, why can't you.
If you can't go forward and you refuse to go back, this is when you grow, just look around and you will see that there is always a way.
Being dedicated analyst for one of the biggest clients
My greatest achievement working in Linedata as support analyst is becoming a dedicated analyst for one our biggest client.
Being dedicated analyst has required to focus on the specific client and provide the best service for them.
This opportunity has gave me a chance to prove myself that I can accept challenges and overcome them.
