What’s your favourite office tradition?

I have two favourite traditions – first is the welcome lunch for the new joiners when we order pizzas for everyone in the office and have lunch together where everyone introduces themselves to the new joiner and the new joiner talks about themselves. Every time we find out something new about each other and have fun. I really look forward to being back in the office and doing that again!
And the other one is the ‘Secret Santa’ that we have with our colleagues who want to participate in it. We draw not only the name of the colleague we prepare the gift for, but also an adjective for the present. Every year it is so nice and fun to see colleagues opening the presents and the joy and laughter about the original gifts. Last year we kept the tradition and opened the presents with everyone joining in a video call.

We did have a tradition of playing some games on xbox during our time off in the office. Another thing to note is having a beer with colleagues on Fridays.
That is still going to be a tradition when we go back to the office.
